Any problems with your Ultra sampler should be reported here, hopefully someone might know what's wrong.

got my samples loaded now what?

Postby KRS-2 » Sat Oct 11, 2003 7:43 pm

pretty new to this sampler. have my samples loaded in from recycle and now im trying to figure out how to get them into multimode so i can sequence them with sx. i can set up a multi using diff midi chanels but when i export them from recycle they only show up in the sample manage screen, when i get back over to multimode and scroll through all my samples only the presets are available.

p.s. the manual downlolad on this site is corrupt or something, anybody have one they can send over?

I'll fix the manual download tomorrow.
Now...before you send the samples go to Preset Manage - New - Give it a name.....then send your samples from recycle. Your preset will have a number. Go to your main mixer screen (master twice) - assign that new preset to channel 1.

You should now be able to play/record the beats or whatever from your keyboard to sx.

thanks! i did get the samples into my multimode and was able to trigger them from sx. there is so much more shit i need to know though. first off, there seems to be a reverb on every sample, like a master effect that effects all the channels and i can only turn it off if i bypass the whole effects section. also i cant seem to figure out where to set my root key for the sample and a key-range for it(they are only triggering from one key right now).

any luck fixing that manual download? it would be much appreciated.

thanks again for the help ezman!

I haven't got into the fx yet, so I get the same problem, will look into it soon. Also haven't bothered with root keys yet....anyone else?
