Im really just askin what cards should be there. With mine I see that there are 6 ROM slot's, identical to my Proteus 2000 slots. They are each labled, DRAM B, DRAM A, ROM 0, ROM 1, ROM 2 and ROM 3, only the first two slots> DRAM B and DRAM A have cards in them. What are the other slot's for? (EDIT**> Should also add that I have allready tried installing the "Composer ROM" that comes with the Proteus 2000 but nothing happened when i installed, tried all 4 empty slots, cheers n thank's for any help and awsome site.

ROM 0 - ROM 3 - sound ROM/sound Flash slots. You can install the E-MU E-Synth, E-MU Phatt/Orbitt, and some other E-MU ROMs (like the Proteus ROM), and/or 16MB or 32MB sound Flash modules that you can use to create your own sound ROMs. Note that for the E-MU to see any sound ROMs, you must enable them in the Master page. If you do, your maximum available sample RAM is reduced from 128MB to 64MB, more info below.

DRAM A - Sample RAM Bank A.
DRAM B - Sample RAM Bank B.

Each sample RAM slot can hold up to a 64MB EDO SIMM (60-70ns) for a maximum of 128MB of sample RAM. Note that if you want to use any sample ROMs or sample Flash memory modules, only 64MB of sample RAM maximum is available, because the EMU is using the other 64MB of addressing space to talk to the ROMs and Flash modules in slots ROM 0-ROM 3.
