I have a problem with my backlight brightness which sceen flickers. Is this screen changes? (I have a 2.5 internal hard drive 80G)

May be of help. Similar issues, google "backlight emu" to see other possible replacements if its your EL light thats fading.
otherwise, could be a bad solder joint - reflow the solder on the EL connection. Watch out tho - HIGH voltages there!
