Powdec PTH65

Postby Listna » Fri Aug 07, 2009 8:04 am

I've got an EMU e6400 Ultra which has one of the older 43W power supplies and I need to source a Powdec PTH65301 supply to replace the 43W one. Things are working fine at the moment however it does not have enough power to run the Addonics Jupiter caddy that I've installed.

I spoke to PowDec in the states however they have a minimum order of 100 units which I'm not quite flush for as much as I'd like to replace all of the members dodgy 43W supplies. I'm going to contact GC components the UK distributor to see if they can sort me out. Does anyone have an further suggestions if these guys do not work out?

Thanks in advance people

I think I might have to save up for an E4XT and nick the one from that these things seem very difficult to source. Apologies for being hasty in the last post without waiting for a reply. I'll continue the thread because I think the 43W ones with be flaking with more frequency as people try and max out their birds.

Drop in replacement from Digikey http://dkc1.digikey.com/uk/en/digihome.html part number 271-2317-ND worked for me
cheaper than buying a whole sampler.

Hope this helps
Dave

Found the datasheet from another supplier http://www.semiconductorstore.com/pdf/newsite/slpower/GLC65AG_DS.pdf
