6400 and "new hardware found"

Postby cracked_lcd » Tue Apr 22, 2003 3:03 am

back on win98, someone created a .dll that stopped the "new hardware found" prompt when the emu was connected via scsi.

i cant find it anywhere, anyone have a work around?

[After getting the found new hardware message] You don't hit "cancel". You hit "search for the driver..., etc". Then you see something like "cannot install hardware" and check 'don't ask me again" this happens 8 times.

Don't know if the above helps (it's from Tweaks forum) - it might be worth a look there using search.

Yeah, Tweak has a link to an .inf file (install in INF directory in Windows), that stops Windows finding a new device on boot. If you cant find it, I will send the file to you...
