Sample pitch change when switching from preset/sample manage

Postby jamie8286 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 4:56 pm

Hi guys im having a bit of trouble when i switch from preset manage to sample manage. I have a sample that is originally G3. I load the sample onto empty preset them place at G3 with a range from C1 to say C5. Then im playing a G3 note out of logic to the sampler. When i switch between preset/sample mange the sound changes pitch as if its playing a note or two lower. Also i have set the audition button to G3 and this also seems to change when switching between menus.

Any ideas what this is? Thanks Jamie

Ah i seems that when i put sample original key to C4 instead of G3 on the preset edit menu this makes it the same is there anyway to sort this out.

Have you checked your pitch wheel? It might be out of calibration. Recal is in Master menu.
If you have a rack unit, turn off the pitch wheel Cord to check for this.
