Hi, I just bought an E-synth rack in fantastic condition for a couple hundred bucks and I'm psyched to dive into it, as it is my first hardware sampler, but I can't get any clear sound. I have a preset loaded from internal ROM on ch1, it's receiving midi signals on ch1 from my moog synth im using as a controller, but when I plug headphones into the front jack or try plugging an amp into the main outputs, I get nothing but slight popping noises if the volume is cranked. I've also been trying the audition button and test tones and still, nothing but slight noise. I tried sampling another keyboard and I can slightly hear some sound when I hit the keys in sample manage mode, but its noise. I've dug through the manuals without success. Anything that I could be missing? I'm getting depressed looking at this beautiful machine without being able to play with it. Thanks!
