Midi in stops after operating E4

Postby razo » Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:07 pm

Just trying to pinpoint down a problem : After operating the Emu ultra from the frontpanel (e.g. saving Bank to HD) the Emu wont respond anymore to midi in from my Cubase sequencer. I have to quit and restart Cubase to have proper midi again. (problem is not insurmountable, but quite annoing). Anyone know about or have a fix for this problem?

It probably is a problem with my sequencer / mac, because I connected it to another midikeyboard and then it responded nicely again....

Any thoughts welcome..Thanks, ole

I use cubase to sequence my sampler also, every now and again the midi falls asleep aswell-but never from the same action.
Have you tried going into midi on the cubase toolbar and hitting reset?

I will try it. actually, I found a cure for it: In cubase I must open up the Key-edit window on the miditrack, then press one of the keys on the left and then the midi starts to work again. really strange.
