E5000 Ultra comes up in MIDI Mix view

I just bought a used e5000 Ultra and for some reason it comes up in MIDI Mix view instead of to the Untitled Preset screen, as per the manual. In fact, for some reason I do not seem to be able to get to that screen at all. Any help?

if i understand you right i think you just need to press Mode (f6), then whole (f1).

When I press F6 then F1 it comes up to the Sequence Manage screen.

Ahh, but when I press F6 TWICE then F1, I am where the manual says I should be. Is this a preference that was set somewhere by the previous owner?
