Win 7 x64 - Esi-32 SMDI Dump

Postby Lunatic » Thu May 12, 2011 11:29 am

So i have bought a new Computer and am trying to get my Esi-32 back on the line. After no luck with the Adaptec 2904 I ordered a Adaptec 29160 (Ultrawide 160). There are 64 Bit drivers available and the card is installed. I haven't installed the driver for the raid though, which i don't think is necessary. In the device manager the Esi shows up 8 times, just as it used to do in Win98. Everything seems fine so far. BUT: I can't get the transfer to work. In Wavelab it says: wrong sysex ID. In Sound Forge the programm starts to transmit but then crashes and in Awave Studio I get the message "Your SCSI doesn't support 64k Buffers". I tried several ASPI Layers (the on from wavelab, Forgaspi, MekugiAspi) no luck still.
I do run all applications as admin. Any Tipps for me? Cheers!
