Does the new Emulator X's sampler play like a hardware one? How's it feel to play?

I find that my soft synths aren't being played at all, and I think it's the feel, so I was afraid to get Emulator X. I got an E6400 Ultra instead, and it really hits the spot. Especially the library.

In my computer I have a Creamware setup ( I have too much stuff! ). The samplers on it are really good, but there aren't any libraries really made for them. They play Akai S1000 or Soundfonts, also their own Akai-type format, STS.
