Anybody got some good tips re cords and creating good 'wow' FX re filters and pitch bending?

I am not sure what you are asking for? Are you looking to make a sound that has a "wow" sound, like a wah wah pedal?

use a low pass filter. Start with it closed and open it up over time. Specific sounds will of course yeild a more convincing wah wah. But that is all it is in it's basic form.
