hi can any one help me , i am new to production and was wondering how you all use your emu 5000 sampler. Also how do you all use time streaching in your music.

I use my emu for everything. I use it for the bass, the drums, just about everthing. I make entire choons using the emu.

As for timestretching. I don't use it. Haven't had a need to use it. If I did, I would only use to fit a vocal sample into place. If I wanted to do long drawn out time stretching.. I do that manually with a cord I came up with a few years back.

is this by using 'sample start' as a destination for real-time pseudo-timestretch?
