E4K sequencer problem

Postby gcoudert » Mon Aug 13, 2007 9:21 pm

If I save a sequence with a bank after setting the tempo correctly, whenever I load the bank again, the tempo has defaulted back to 120bpm and I have to set it again manually.

Setting the tempo to "screen value"/"tempo track" doesn't seem to make any difference.

I was wondering whether I need to actually create a tempo track. How do I do this?

Thanks,

Gilles

I actually had the same problem some time ago, it ended with me sequencing the e-mu from the computer, because i did'nt feel like reading the manual;) The manual probably have a solution.

(while consulting the PDF of the manual he keeps on his computer for just such an occasion)

Have you set an initial tempo in the Initial Track State screen? I guess that would be creating a tempo track... ok, try that, while setting the tempo control to "tempo track". It's mentioned on page 146 of the EOS 4.0 manual.

If it still doesn't work... well, I'm stumped.

I'll give it a try today.

Thanks vermis_rex! It worked.

It was indeed an initial track issue. The page is here: Seq --> Edit --> Right page button.
