How to do this?

How to automate the filters freq amount with logic? I can find the MIDI CC implementation.:(

PLS help me.

You first go into the master section and set up which CC the Midi A to H (?), should respond to.

Then you create a cord which points to Midi A-G and to FilterFreq, and turn it up to a percent you would like.

You need to do this for all the voices (or to a group). You can controll diffrent filters in a patch using sevral voices by assigning filterfreq/reso to diffrent MIDI controlls. :)

But can I change the filter VIA Midi? So maybe....first i want lowpass the patch, the with midi switch the filter type to highpass?

Switching of filter in patch is not possible.

Maybe it is with sysex?? anyone??

But not with Midi CC

Definitely possilbe with sysex. Don't have the documentation hand at the mo. Only problem that it wont change whilst a note is being played. It will kick in on the next note played.

Simpler way is to copy the voice and switch between the 2 using a fader. I can't badger on about this method enough. It is possible fade through every type of filter this way - some would be pointless but I'm sure there would be some interesting results especially if there were other modulations going on. I haven't fired up my Emu for 6 months now but I still get excited, lol!

Well, another automation question...

Can I switch the outputs inside a preset? Example...I have a midrange bass sound, and I route it to sub 2, and i add to this sub a bit reverb. But in the end of the tune i want to switch the sub 2 out to sub 3, cause i add to sub 3 a delay.

It is possible?

if you have the rfx card you can automate the effect to turn it on and off. but to change sub out seems to me like something you have to do through sysex. and it would probably generate some noise during the switch?

maybe somebody knows more about this?
