Well.. new track.. this time i am not very satisfied.. but instead of trying to figure out how to make it better, i end it off.. so i can start on a new one :).


Vocals/Ahh'ing: Maria
Misc voice effects: Mathias (9 month old :P)
Drums: Emu 6400 Ultra
Bass: Novation Nova, sampled down to emu, where its recreated as a patch, with emu filtering.
Strings/Pads: Korg Z1 and Novation Nova

the Piano ist what? Emu + EOS Reverb?

Its actually Emu Holy grail Gold piano (128mb), but the reverb is the TC Konnekt 24D build in reverb, which sounds just awesome.

How did you make that pad?

The one you hear in the start. or the one that plays a melody together with the piano?

the pads are from Korg Z1, which i now regret that i traded with a virus b :(.

its created by running two filters in split. with lopass and bandpass. regular saw on two oscillators. the korg also have some waveshapings which have been used to get more harmonics which then have been filtred down with the cutoff. the korg z1 is amazing for pads.


The other pad is plain two saw detuned and filtred down with lopass with a nice envelope which opens the pad, then sampled down to emu and re filtred there.

The emu filters are very good for pads!!


What makes the korg z1 so good is the fact that its very bright in its oscillators.





not all synhts does pads
