E4XT filters allways on?

Postby jamie8286 » Wed Jul 29, 2009 7:32 pm

Hi guys havnt been on here for a while hows it goin? Just been having a mess around with my sampler and noticed that you cannot actually turn the filters off? Am i right in thinking that you can change the filter cut off amount so that it is always open but cannot actually turn them off? Iv had a look on the chords and turned off the amounts but still no unless i change the settings on the filter page or use my controller.

cheers

If you want a flat response I think the best way is to use one of the swept octave filters and set the boost to 0db. But to answer your question, no you cannot set the filter to 'none' as you can on the proteus 2000 series.

Ah that'll be why i carnt find it then  cheers bit weird they left that option out i only noticed because i was using the audition button on some of my presets and noticed they always sounded like shit due to the way i set the filters up.

thanks
