Shows what can be done with the right contacts, dedication, and lots and lots of time...

There are some dreams that never dies.. like.. a bug free EOS (with 100% working rfx32).... then add stuff like usb expansions, which also could be used for controlling the sampler when the buttons and dialers starts to wear out... beat slicing feature would be nice..

:)

... to continue...
- USB-Expansion for connecting USB-Keyboards (also ASCII), USB-Controllers, USB-Sticks ... maybe a Touchscreen TFT via DisplayLink ...
- Ehternet-Port with integrated WebServer for editing & managing via a Web-Interface (No questions like "What about the MAC?") and a NAS-interface including file system translation ...
- Yes, Beat-Slicing would be a nice feature, also a Denoiser with fingerprint
- a Step-Sequencer

This is amazing! I always wanted a DSS1, but it was sooo big that I bought an Ensoniq EPS16+ instead.

However, how is it that Jim Babb could just 'give away' the source code?!?! Isn't it still Korg's IP? Anybody from E-mu at home??

mmmm,

Its a real shame, IMO the only thing that makes a soft sampler better is the size of the memory - Imagine 4 gig in your emu..Nice

I actually spent some time trying to get help. Contacted people who advertise their services as a genius etc, never got anywhere sadly..They can send a man to the moon with a calculator but they can't increase the ram capacity on an old motherboard..oooops
