THE EOS logic environment

Postby snaper » Fri Jul 15, 2011 6:36 am

Hy Dogs,

There is a lot of great environments, but Im working on a very usable to. (My one will not be for programming the sampler or sample transfer, just for controlling.)

Its basicly a mixer with the following features :

- volume control with mute buttons for every 16 ch,
- pan control for every 16 ch,
- velocity amount based LED meter for every 16 ch,
- output selector for every 16 ch (voice, main, sub1, etc.)
- preset selector for every 16 ch,
- master effect controller for FX A and FX B,

So this is NOW, but I need some help. I made this with a some kind of weird "cut and paste" methond, from a lot of diff. environments (EOSwiz, E4Remote, Shiftkick Toolkit, etc.), so I need a partner, who can help me to create 3 other buttons for every ch. A Chorus amount fader, a Filter Cutoff fader and a Resonance fader (or if there are any other request, we could "implement" it).

I dont know much about Logic's sysex programming, almost everything done now with simple MIDI messeges.

Of course, if I done, I will post the environment!

... i think you don´t need Sysex. The most of this can be related with Continuous Controllers

- volume control with mute buttons for every 16 ch,

Volume is default CC 7
- pan control for every 16 ch,

Pan is CC 10
- velocity amount based LED meter for every 16 ch,

For the Velocity you can find a Environment template. Transformer - Vel Switscher- Button Color ;)
- output selector for every 16 ch (voice, main, sub1, etc.)

In RFX Card Modus is Default the CC 9x for the Four Busses

- preset selector for every 16 ch,

There are Programm Change- why not use them? ( If you have SoundDiver you get also the ProgramNames from the E-MU
- master effect controller for FX A and FX B,

Same as Buss Modus- you can changed it up to Four CC

Good Luck

Amounts can be controlled as follows
Try this cord

CHORD NO------------SOURCE-----------------DEST---------------AMOUNT
01 --------------------- MidiA -----------------SndAux1------------- +100
02 --------------------- MidiB -----------------SndAux2------------- +100
IN THE FX SECTION ENABLE EFFECTS AND TURN THE EFFECTS SENDS TO OO%

Continuous controllers A & B will now act as effect sends
Add this cord to each instrument to automate your sends.

Parameters - dunno if this is possible.
