how do i create a multisample using two different presets OR

Postby felun » Sat Apr 07, 2012 2:14 am

hi, ive searched and have the manual in my lap..but need some help

basically i have two presets i like, id like to merge them somehow, and have one half of the keyboard play one, and the other half play the other. sounds simple enough but i cant seem to edit the key ranges in the preset edit, and i cant see where i would move the samples root note (just the top and bottom of the ranges)?

any help thanks, been going in circles for hours..bet its simple

cheers

Yes, there's a simple solution.

Create a new Preset and name it e.g. "Keyboard Split".
Go to Preset Edit. YOu will see the page "Voices-Main".
Go to the next page "Vces-KyWin" and set the values for LOW and for HIGH to the same value (C-2 or G8) so that this voice is not played at any time.
Go to the LINK-page "Links-Main" and add two Presets (Utils -> New).
Go to the next page "Links-KyWin" and set the the Key Window for each Preset.

That's it.
