in reference to the amp adsr. have you guys and gals ever gotten a good flow with this? what i mean is, if you set the multiple stages of the adsr at various settings, are the changes smooth or abrupt. for the most part, my work with the amp adsr has been limited to tweaking the attacks and releases. when i set, for example, the second attack with a level like 98 while the first attack's level is at 100, i get a major decrease in volume. I mean it isn't like it just kind of gets quite, i am talking like pow, then softer. It kind of resembles the attack and i suppose decay of a plucked string or something.
i have seem an amp curve page or something like that. but i am concerned that adjusting that, form where it is now (i believe it is at log right now) i will lose the natrual fading capabilites if i so chose to use velocity to fade instead of automating it. My cakewalk program has a really cool thing in it's midi section. I can select a section and actualy set a fade form 127 to 0 or the other way 'round on that selected section. so drawing in cc's are not something i typically do if i want to do a fade in or out.
let me know what i can do to make the amp adsr act alittle bit less literal. oh, after thought. i set the adsr one time to a level of 50, that damn near turned the sound off...
