Same thing happened today, it was on breakbeat sample I was using. I had imported the sample by floppy but the sample was corrupted. Using soundforge I took the loop point off that wav file and this time the file worked flawlessly.
I'm using EOS 4.7. It looks as if the emu has difficulty importing wav files with loops on them.
