Just got hold of an E4XT running EOS 3.00b after my beloved E64 kicked the bucket.
It ran the first time I switched it on but now gets stuck mounting (I assume) the internal Quantum Fireball hard drive.
The E4 was shipped internationally so am thinking it maybe took a knock or 2, could a corrupt drive cause the hang?
Am guessing I'll have to open it up and disconnect the HD, anything else I can try before getting my hands dirty?

For the record I managed to resolve the problem like this -
Disconnected the HDD and floppy and switched the Emu back on, it booted (eventually)!
Powered down and reconnected both drives. Booted normally on power up but the HDD was giving a SCSI SW Error on save / load.
Formatted the HDD and now works 100%
