I dont know is it the lexicon doing magic, but this sounds insane. Much better than pcm romplers of that time. Does anybody have those four floppies ? I would like to have them very much

argh, these videos! I do absolutely WANT these disks as well!! S1000, wonderful machine. The Lexicon sure does some magic of the best order, be certain of it, an excellent match for the sK, and very, very good looking as well.
Actually you can just load anything in an S1000 and it will come out better, but this is common knowledge, i guess

Yeah, but its amazing, you can load a simple waveform, even a sine and it will sound like magic! I never had the opportunity to use sK, i only have s3k, sans FX, and it can still sound really good. I like its pitch shifting, reminds me of old dos trackers

Hijacking my thread, but what would be a nice ( and cheap ) addition to a sampler, in terms of a rack processor ? I know i saw some zoom multi fx's ages ago that were not guitar oriented, some japanese dude used it in a no input mixing session, for processing...

Thats nice. Im looking to add FX without investing in FX board for akai. It would be nice addition, but im looking for something cheaper for now, since budget is pretty low
