amp env

hello,

i wonder if this is possible with the (amplifier) enveloppe settings

short key press : long release : no problem to program, just set rls1 rate to a high(er) number
long(er) key press ; short decay time, shorter than the release rate above

so the effect to above programming would be : short key : long release, long(er) key press : short decay with also a short release time

all this in the same voice/preset of course...

thanks in advance

greetings from belgium,
j

Re: amp env

if you set the decay time lower than the release a held note will drop to the sustain level more quickly, but the release will remain the same.

so a fast decay, 0 sustain and long release should work.

if you truly want variable decay/sustain rates i think your best bet would be to use modulate the release/decay times with another control message, eg velocity or modwheel...
