hi

iam having trouble getting wavelab 4, and my e5000 to communicate together through a adaptec 2940W card running on a windowsXP home os.

even though the scsi card is safely slotted into a PCI slot the card does not come up as selectable in the wavelab sampler configuration section.

i know it can all work together as i have had it all runing on a friends system for the past year.... and can't remember how i got it working with such ease last time!

anybody ever had this problem or have an idear hoe to fix it?

Did u install the Adaptec scsi drivers?

which do i need the windows aspi package or the ez scsi 5.01 ? or both?

i think i've got the aspi package as it came with my wavelab -

though let me know and i'll get this sorted

just the aspi package.

Ur problem seems v common, installing the aspi package usually
sorts it out.
