difference between e4xt ultra & e6400 ultra ?!?

For everything about the EMU sampler EXCEPT preset and cord creations.

eBay, and they're getting cheaper.

I got an E-Synth Ultra for $550 in April, and then scored a like-new E4XT Ultra with the ADAT board, E-Synth ROM, and new PSU for $475 in August.

Not bad. Here in Norway we got this page called www.musikkweb.no where there always are some 5000's and 6400's going for around 400 $ (they are mainly classic, but the odd ultra sometimes show up). If you are lucky you might also find some E-synth's and E4xt, although they are classic's almost all the time. But I did stumble over this page called something with mac and music. This page had this classified section with a real lot of emus going for very little money. Think the page might have been france or something. Pity I can't remember the address.

Maybe a little out of topic, but anyway...

eBay. I originally got a E4, classic but with 128 voice and 128 ram for ~$300, then traded up to a ^400 Ultra that had been updated to a E4XT Ultra (plus 8 more outs) for ~$400 - and then sold the E4 classic for what I paid for it. Last I saw however prices have gone up on eBay, so I probably got lucky.
