Hi all,
i've read a few posts that mention members having put 60gb hard drives in their emus - an i remembered something that might be worth checking:
From memory the maximum start up current the EMU can provide to a hard drive is 2.1amps or 1.7 amps (cant remember)
what you will find is that most of the newer 7200 rpm drives exceed this.
I guess that it wont really fry a power supply the first time or maybe even never, but it is something to consider when u have added extra options...
in the end i found some nice quiet 5400 30gb drives that have a 1.7a startup current..
