hi all

i have just noticed that you cant backup akai cd roms using my emu 6400 ultras drive...is there a way to backup cd roms from third party manufacturers like i can easily do with emu stuff ?...

If I understand your question correctly, you just import the Akai volumes (programmes and samples) and save them on your HD as E-mu banks. I have done this many times before.

yap is there a way to backup all the contents of a cd rom from akai lie i can do with the emu format cds ?...

What exactly do you mean by 'backup', OpenOcean? Copy the CDs? Save some Akai programmes in your E-mu or the whole content of an Akai CD to an E-mu?
