Esynth question?

Postby kramozzam » Sat Oct 04, 2008 10:01 pm

I have .wav files already on my computers harddrive, so the files I want to burn onto CD come from the computer. I take it by reading on this board that the Esynth will not read a CD formatted in .wav format. How can I convert my computer .wav files to the Esynth format, and when I do that can I burn them to a CD on my computer?

It's killing me in thinking there isn't a way of converting .wav files on the computer and then burning the disc on the same computer- my main reason being is that I only have an external SCSI CD-ROM for the keyboard, no external CD writer but have two on my computer.

I also have Sony's Sound Forge but just got that from a band mate of mine and have no idea if it can convert those .wav files for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

with a scsi connection, you can send samples to the sample from soundforge via tools-->sampler. otherwise, update to eos 4.07 to read FAT formatted media
