Hello all, just aquired an E6400 Ultra with the intention of making some custom roms for the Proteus 2000.
I already have an E Synth Classic with an AES/EBU interface and have the idea of putting that in the Ultra, but there is no direct connection as there is on the Classic board.

The Classic's board connector is 14 pin whereas the Ultra has an I/O board connector of 34 pins, presumably combining the AES, Midi B and Word Clock together.

Would it be possible to safely connect to this ?
