E-Synth, new to me

Postby raven56 » Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:44 pm

Hello, one and all, I just picked up an E-Synth here in Seattle. The seller provide two noisy as hell Jazz drives, but that was all that accompanied the board. He picked it up at an estate sale. I've found the manuals on the web, but I would like to find copies of the file and sound disks that came with the Big E. Any direct help or assistance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

I need to add that The E-Synth is running EOS 3.20e, and only has presets P000-P189. That's why I need the disks, to restore the ROM. Also it has a few other issues that need sorting out, the main one related to volume. I can only set the volume slider 1/3 of the way up, if it's set higher I experience random bursts of sound at full volume every 3 or 4 depressions of the keys. I have a few ideas, but if anyone has suggestions I'll buy coffee if you visit Seattle. Thanks in advance.

Hi Raven,

Try recalibrating the data slider (and everything else as well) using the Recalibration Utility (Master, Utilities, Recal). This will probably fix the volume slider problem.
