Hey guys,

so recently i create an Esi32 for a friend and for myself, added pccards.

I just sent him his in the post and he has it and can only get it to output noise.

It was perfectly fine here when I sent it, we have tried reseating the ram and looking for loose cables, eeprom initialise, ram tested, he is getting noise from all outputs even headphone jack so its not the cable he is using,

Also we did the sin wave output test, and it was distorted with noise but then went clear for a moment till it went distorted again, so we have put the unit in the airing cupboard incase its a moisture from transit issue.

any advice would be appreciated.

I had a similar situation on an ESI-4000 (which is very similar in all aspects), it turned out to be the RAM, try swapping the sticks around and giving them a clean.
