I posted this in The Lab section but got no replies so I will try again here :-)
How do I upgrade my E-snyth rack Classic? It's currently on 4.10. I bought Flashprep floppy off ebay but putting it in the E-Synth and booting does nothing.
I am on mac and have no access to PC. Emus site seems to have nothing on it about the E4 anymore.
Is the Flashprep they are selling only for Ultras? Are there two different versions?

Have you ever tried the update to ESO 4.62 without the flashprep?

And what exactly happens when you power on the unit with the flashprep diskette in the floppydrive?

I have only Ultra´s, but I think important is, to update the EOS to 4.62 on the Classic Emus. Not 4.61!!!

But this is just an idea.....

It just boots and ignores the flash prep disk. Same if I just put the upgrade disk in, it just boots and ignores it.

I have found a zip file in my Emu folder which contains the EOS 4.62 and the FlashPrep!
Perhaps it is another FlashPrep than for the Ultras!!!

Please give me your private Email adress.
