Hi all,

Ive been looking the various options for tranporting samples to my e5000.
I want to add a cf reader but havent had anyluck finding one, and scsi to ide converters are
crazy expensive now.
I found this firewire to ide converter and was wondering if anyone had any luck using
something like this? or know whether this could work with eos 4.7.
from what Ive read you cant connect a computer directly to the sampler running 4.7, so this may be an issue.

I am not sure the firewire will work with IDE, it seems only a certain models of SCSI converters work and even less models for USB (though some claim it works), personally I ordered mine from SCSI for samplers.. but I did try the Yamaha scsi converter and it did not work.
