NEED HELP ASAP! Combining presets.....

Postby DS-1 » Mon Sep 06, 2004 4:45 pm

I did a search and couldnt find anything relevent, but i seem to recall someone saying that you can combine presets in multi mode.
What I mean is that, if i use 4 breaks, all in different presets, I can combine them to play on one midi channel. I checked the manual too and couldnt find anything
PLEASE HELP!
I took a couple days off work and want ot get started right away

thanks guys

Yes you could choose one of the 4 presets and add 3 links to it - then setup each link to point to one of the remaining 3 presets. Or you could copy all the voices in 3 of the presets into the remaining preset and have one bigger preset - do keyboard remapping appropiately.

The Combine feature you refer to is for combining seperate voices of a preset that have the same group number into one voice with multiple sample zones instead. "Combine" is better labelled "Combine group".

You cannot combine presets without actually copying the voices explicitly - ah! but you will be able to do this with ZoeOS - http://www.zuonics.com
