Hi folks I am a newbie here and a newbie to EMU samplers.
I picked up an E5000 Ultra last week and have a silly question
no dubt to ask.

I am trying to put a few samples into a preset but wanting
the solo samples to play on just the key I have assigned
them to.

So for example a drum hit on C2, a brass stab on C3 etc.
no matter how I try to tweak them like drum hit low: C2 high:
C2 it doesn't seem to work. The sample will either play
in a very low key or only play like C2 but not C3 etc.

How do you map them out to have a preset with single
hit samples in assigned to various keys?

I can't seem to find it in the manual.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but it's bugging
the life out of me.
