RFX-32 Random Panning Bug Petition

Postby art » Mon Dec 24, 2007 9:33 am

If you are the owner of an E-MU E4 Ultra sampler with the optional RFX-32 effects/mixer card installed, you are likely aware of the Random Panning bug when mixing stereo and mono samples through the RFX-32. Please sign the petition for a bug fix from E-MU Systems:

It's been a year since this petition was started. E-MU as been made aware of the petition, and true to form, they don't care. Why should they? They already have our money.

Thanks to all who have signed. Keep them coming. If all we accomplish is to show what a lame company E-MU has become, it's worth the time.

Side note: The statute of limitations hasn't run out yet. We have two years left. E-MU is still liable under US law for knowingly selling goods that did not work as advertised. Are there any lawyers on the forum who would care to do some pro bono work? ;)

"By providing Emulator 4 users with continued software upgrades and new exciting hardware enhancements, we believe purchasing an E-MU sampler is an investment. This type of support and commitment make the Emulator 4 line of samplers unique in their ability to realize any sound imaginable," says Bryan Lanser, director of marketing for E-MU SYSTEMS.

I wonder if this stands as evidence that EMU mislead us....
