Question about turbo option card interchanging with units

Postby Arisquad » Fri Apr 29, 2011 2:51 pm

Hello, I have two e-mu samplers, one is the esi4000 turbo and also a e5000 ultra. My question is: can I install the esi4000 turbo option card into the e5000 ultra? The ultra is running v4.61. I would be overjoyed to have s/pdif in/out on that ultra.. Any help would be appreciated.

No chance!

The Turbo Option is only for the ESI range!

And if you search for the D-Wam Board für the e6400 and E5000 Ultra, it is important that there is a chip which comes with the board!

There often boards on Ebay, but there are no chip included. And you need a chip, which will install on the AES7EBU socket on the Mainbaord of the Ultra!

Without this chip, the board doesn´t work!

So, ask before bidding or buying!!!
