E6400 problem

Postby mrdazobee » Sat Jul 21, 2012 9:52 am

I have been using translator to convert kontakt nki into my e6400 ultra 4.07. The translation goes well and saves/loads ok in the emu. I have then been trying to create a new bank using the merge feature out of the banks I have loaded in. Everything works and saves ok. The problem is when I power off and then come to load up again it gives me an error sample full, when the memory is not full, and is working fine untill I power off. Any ideas what the problem might be?

As I understand can't EOS load the bank without errors.
Is the error-message really "sample full"???

Try something else:
1. Recreate the bank by merging all banks you used before. Go to Sample Edit, Tools 2 and execute Integrity to fix all imported samples, if necessary.
2. Save this bank.
3. Delete alle Samples via Sample Manage but keep the Presets.
4. Save the Bank that just contains the Presets without the Samples and without replacing the bank you saved under step 2.
5. Clear memory and load the complete bank you saved under step 2.
6. If an error occures, clear memory, import/merge one by one each sample from the bank, saved under step 2 but keep the same sample numbers.
7. Merge the bank with the presets, saved under step 4.
8. Save this bank to a new place and check if the error still occures.

Thanks for the response. I just loaded up one of the banks and then went to sample edit. I get the message "right start zero". I pressed ok and then went to tools 2 integrity and got the message "sample size". Can you tell me if that is normal?

Error-messages aren't normal at any time.

After import of the samples you should check all of them.
"Integrity" should fix the headers of all samples.

Did the message "sample size" disappear after you confirmed it with OK?

I just loaded up two of the banks I converted, they are both from the same sample cd.The first I checked the sample integrity and all was fine, no error messages.I then merged the other bank and checked integrity and I'm getting the same error messages. The sample size error disappears after I press ok but when I press integrity again the same error pops up, so it's not actually fixing the problem.
