No test mode on e6400 classic

I just picked up an EMU e6400 classic and instead of having a test mode I have init ee (initialize eprom). It's using OS 3.00b which is the latest I can use, I think. I'm having some weirdness and I'd like to test to see what's up. Thanks for any help.
