Random Beat Generator
Load a cut up break with each hit mapped to a different key.
Set the ultras arpegiator to 1 octave - up ( or maybe down or random) speed at 16 notes, set arp tempo at projects tempo and hold down keys randomly.
If you record a few minutes of the performance with the internal resample feature of the sampler you can capture some great new beats.
Obviously loads of the recording will be junk but you can find some cool stuff in there too. Just chop out the best bits and keep them.
You can also record the arp patterns into the internal sequencer/DAW if you want to chop them this way instead.
Will it be a lemon or will you hit the jackpot?
