You can only upgrade it with hardware chips. They're pretty hard to track down, these days, but it's worth giving Emu a call. To be honest, it would probably be cheaper to just buy an Emu that already has the latest OS installed (when I bought the upgrade chips about 6 years ago, they were ?90). It might even be cheaper to buy an EOS sampler!
