loading eos 4.7 onto my e4xt ultra

Postby Scott B » Wed Nov 07, 2007 3:54 am

so I downloaded the 4.7 eos and tried throwing the .dli file on a floppy but the sampler didn't prompt to update the OS on startup. am I doing this right? I can't believe what a hardware sampler n00b I am :biglaugh: . seriously any pointers would be great. I'm just a software user in the land of hardware. thanks :)

you are not doing it right.

try reading the instructions.

it is a little more complex than just copying the file to a floppy.

would these instructions be found in the manual or somewhere on the site? I thought I went through the right part of the manual but its obvious I've made a grave error.

Thanks

you are on your own.

instead of dragging and dropping try running the exe program that you downloaded.

only works on a pc.
