I am waiting for a os x beta for translator, when i get that i can convert the .eos and upload it so both formats are there. We should also make a image with the eos files on, so its just to burn and go.

When you have tried out the sounds, please write a short comment/review on the page so it can be helpful for other users :)

I just tried converting an EOS bank into an E4B bank... Nothing happened. :???:

I must be doing something wrong, but it seemed like a pretty straightforward operation. Strange.

Edit: Working now.

I'm having some problems reading the Ultra Production Set CD, because it's a bit scratched, but I'll persevere...

Ultra production set who that by????

Have you tried a cd scratch remover??

If constructor was available I would send some samples to be hosted as I cannot waste my time at the moment with translator as I tried the free version and it gives me errors!! :grumble: :grumble:

It came as an extra with the 8 CDROM pack, but I can't remember what's on it.

My Emu's CDROM drive doesn't like it so I'll have to clean it and try it with Translator.

Try a lint free cloth which can be obtained from an opticians shop it always works for me.

Also if your having problems run the cd under cold water and check for imperfections and then dry it with a lint free cloth as well.

Here you go: http://www.wizoosounds.com/cgi-bin/WebO ... 32.3.0.3.1

Then you can get Chickensys translator and translate it.

Just to make it clear.. this is NOT any kind of warez activity. its striclty for sample cds and samples that are free of charge, or gone out on date!

yea.. but with translator i figure you can get it by buying it for halion or exs24.. :) but if anyone wants to share it.. its a bit up to them

But don't start "requesting" stuff.. this isn't that kind of place. And hopefully people will share their home made stuff as much as commercial stuff.

I don't want to be rude, but i hate to see it grow to a warez kind of site... the intentions are more noble then that :)

I downloaded the Akai Proteus 2000 iso, burned the image file to CD which was apparently successful but the all the Akai volumes came up as empty on the E4K! The CD looks almost full to the brim (there's definitely a lot of data on there judging from the the line, close to the edges of the CD). I am confused, as I have several Akai CDs and the E-mu reads them fine. I'll try the CD on the S2800i later... Is the iso in S1000 or S3000 format?

Just remember guys if you are going to use a CD in a SCSI rom you will probably have to use a 650MB disc rather than a 700MB for it to be read.
