internal resample

Postby jura » Sun Apr 20, 2008 3:18 pm

hi i got a problem when resampling sounds internally in my e6400 ultra.

first i setup a complex filtering patch that is ritmically well thought out (say filter enveloppe does 1 beat, then lfo 1 doing dotted quarters moving to lfo 2 doing 16th's) then i want to resample so i can do the whole process again, but when i resample the timing isn't the same anymore! i tried this a few times but no luck. does anybody knows if this is a bug?

Are you resampling the right note?

yeah it's the same note. really strange, any modulator that i use, lfo's, env's etc. sound like they kick in a wee bit later than intended to do.

This is a bug.

Strange, as it actually should sample 'what you hear'. You may record it outside with a computer and sample it back with Ultra.

I second that proposal!

thanks guys. for now i'll use my e6400 classic to sample back and forth.

it's a pitty because i tried filtering a sound twice with the same settings in another sampler and it gives some really nice results.
