music machines website

http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufactu ... 8/samples/

stuff done and processed off a tape (saturation)

The best option:

Have a look at the d16 group Nephaton plugin and standlone solution - superb modelled emulation.

Here's the link:

http://www.d16.pl/index.php?menu=153

I've a real 808 - self modified with analog solutions mods and kenton midified - though nothing beats that, nephaton comes very close indeed. Their 303 emulation is top notch too.

Demo version can be used to create one shots you can sample, but the plugin adds the analog life to it for movement and depth and interactions with other circuits - very sweet.

I found this link to a pack of 24bit TR-909 and 808 samples a few months back, so thought i would share

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/1/1/5 ... amples.zip

Great quality and a nice range of tunings on the kickdrums :loveit:

Personally i wouldnt ever pay for sample packs off ebay unless i was sure the seller had actually created/processed them himself.
Reason why is that the majority of stuff for sale on ebay has been found on the net via forums or torrent sites.
Easy cash for the sellers, most of which often sell pirate software or commercial soundbanks/sample cd's as well

I think the internet is great for sharing samples but just dont agree with people then selling what they find for free
