Now the bad news.

My question is should I just return the sampler? Or should I take a chance and try to get this beast working properly? If I start to mess with it too much, I doubt I'll be able to return it. Does this sound like a hardware issue (like an electrical short or power supply) or a software issue (EOS 4.7)? What would you do?
I would hate to give up on the sampler, but I also don't like paying good money for a machine that is potentially defective. My hardware sampler frustrations have already started and I just got the thing!

By the way, I've done searches on the forum and the closest problem somewhat similar to mine is this one:

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
