anyone use a keyboard with their emu?

it seems fiddle to to me >

alt+ d or ctrl g = sample edit
ctrl d = disk
alt+ A = preset edit

D, DF, F, Punch = Hado-ken:

its like playing street figher one handed whlist using the pc sequencer with the left hand. why did they use these key combinations? was there a specific keyboard made for the emu?

ive been searching for a pc keyboard that allows you to design special function keys without it having to be conected to a pc no luck yet.

I programmed the PREH Commander 128WX for that purpose.

All the menues at your fingertips. There are also some other brands like
CHERRY who offer POS programmable keyboards. I guess this is what you
are looking for.

It really makes the EMU controllable - especially if you have the RFX-32
installed, which is accessed by a lot of sub-menues.

Yeah, I use the keyboard, I love it. Once you get use to it, things go much faster. Plus, you don't have to worry about the double button issue with the emu face keys.

Same here, although it does play up sometimes. There is one screen I can't get out of using the Esc key for some reason. I think it's Master --> MIDI --> Mode.
