Saving/Exporting Presets in E4P Format

Postby TSR » Sat Nov 22, 2008 4:30 pm

I'd like to save single presets from several EMU ROMS in the
E4P format to use them in another sampler.

Somehow, I don't find a way how write single presets on FAT
formatted CF cards. If I want to save a preset, a bank is always
created instead.

Is there no way to write the actual preset in the E4P format?

Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks, TSR

Found the answer myself: It's a limitation of EOS4.7.

Unfortunately, only BANKS, AIF and WAV formats are supported.

No 4.7 limitation, that's how it is: It saves a single preset AS A BANK (containing this preset).

You name it, but this "saving within a bank" makes it impossible to
me to use them directly in the MPC4000 and I haven't got any
converter software to extract the presets.
